Had an amazing time celebrating my 60th birthday with friends. Food was fabulous and service was excellent coupled with the lovely decor and ambience of the seatings upstairs. Highly recommend . 🥰👍

Large group downstairs were really noisy - created a great atmosphere but was Really echoing upstairs and so could hardly even hear each other talking. Our glssses were empty for most of the meal and so you missed a chance to sell 4 or 5 more drinks - perhaps be more attentive and you would have made a lot more money from our table. We asked for a beef broth, it didn’t come with the chicken one and we chased a few times then the mains turned up, then after them 2 beef broth turned up. Seemed a bit disorganised. Very polite waitress though and no issue with the bill. Overall a really great meal, well priced and just a few things would have made it great. We will definitely be back.

Excellent fresh food & variety. Delicious Vietnamese coffee too. Good non-alcoholic drinks too.

The service was great the food was tasty but the quantities and value for money was on the higher side on some items. Overall a very good experience.

Love the food here, the smoked duck salad is sensational. I've been a couple of times and took a guest from Melbourne there last night, she agreed the duck salad was her favourite. The service is always great, you have exceptional staff.

My birthday dinner choice. The food was great, the service was terrible. I had to walk downstairs to arrange a drinks order 4 times for a table of 7. Our table was not cleared of our previous drinks at all, for the night. No personnel service or communication. disappointing to accompany good food. We wont be rushing back because of the inexperienced and uninterested service.

I booked a table for ten and were given a lovely long table at the back of the restaurant. It was cold when we arrived and when mentioning it were told to pull the cord to turn on the heater. I would have liked the space to have been warm before our arrival and for the staff to manage the heater. We all said as we arrived I hope we don't get forgotten here - and we were! I had to go up to the counter to get someone to take our food orders. We were never checked on to see if we needed more drinks which meant one of us had to go up and order. Overall we enjoyed our evening, we were a group that hadn't caught up in ages so we had fun. I would say that had the space been a bit warmer on a cold night, the table service more attentive it would have been a great experience. I appreciated that we could park across the road at Sabatos, makes a difference in cold, wet Auckland to park close by. Thanks.
