A nice comfortable restaurant with great service and good prices.

Absolutely amazing and delicious food. Could improve service by clearing used plates and topping u water drinks more and finger bowls supplied without requesting. for pork ribs etc But it was very busy the evening we were there so they did well.

Absolutely amazing. We went here today with family to celebrate my wife's 60th Birthday as we had heard great things about Someplace Else, happily we weren't disappointed 🥳 Everything about this place from the fabulously friendly greeting, the very good service and the amazing food was awesome. We will certainly be back. The scrumptious brownie given to my wife at the end of the meal, complimentary, was a very nice touch. Thank you Someplace Else for helping to make this a very special day 💝

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Someplace else in Orewa, and let me tell you, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff and shown to our table. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, with dim lighting and soft music playing in the background. Throughout our meal, the service was top-notch, with attentive staff making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, Someplace else exceeded all of our expectations. The food was exceptional, the ambiance was cozy, and the service was impeccable. I would highly recommend dining here to anyone looking for a memorable culinary experience in Orewa. I can't wait to come back and try more of their delicious dishes.

The environment was good but the meals were quite average. I had charcoal fish and it didn’t taste charcoally at all. The pork ribs looked good.

Right across from the beach with great atmosphere. The owner was charming and attentive. The service was excellent and the food well flavored and cooked perfectly. We had the bbq half chicken and the lamb chops. So good it makes my mouth water thinking about our meal.
