The salad starter was delicious. The pork schnitzel was enjoyed by my husband but could have done with more chips to make it more filling. I chose grilled vegetables without the sour cream which unbeknown to me left off the potato gratin (it didn't have this specified) which would have made the dish more substantial, this wasn't communicated so my "main" turned up with so little food at $24.90 I was left a bit shocked that the kitchen did not rectify this is some way (communication firstly) so there was a small portion of grilled veges, a roll and some lettuce & I mean small overall! I did request more food - ideally a baked potato but they came out with additional grilled veges BUT I did have to buy additional food on the way home as I was still hungry. HOWEVER it would be very remiss of me not to tell you the grilled veges with seeds were absolutely delicious but it was so minimal it was like a small side dish serve. The problem with the dining experience was lack of communication between the wait staff & the kitchen & serving me as the customer a quality plentiful vege meal. As a former chef my recommendation to wow your vege customers who come with the meat loving customers is to pair those delicious grilled veges with a baked potato & offer a dairy free option like baked potato + sauerkraut not a sauce for a substantial filling meal the equals the value of $24.90.

There is one table customer very noisy. They are fastidious about food when ordering. Owner is too kind to them.

Unfortunately says German restaurant but nothing German about this place! Burnt chips with mushroom soup and tomato sauce on side with beef stroganoff like a beef curry, so disappointed was really looking for some authenticity

The food was good but it doesn’t deserve a 4.7 rating, the service is slow, chairs uncomfortable, beer selection not very good.

For a Wednesday evening at 6 o'clock it was busy. Service was attentive and not in your face. The food was great. We had garlic bread to start, nice and garlicky. 2 chicken schnitzels and lamb shank for main, all cooked to perfection. For dessert We had tiramisu and the eclair to share, both delicious. Highly recommend a visit, we will be back
