The serving team need to be more proactive. It took too long for them to take drink orders when we arrived. They seeming to hang around but not approach the table until I held eye contact with them. Otherwise the food was amazing and the meals prepared in a timely manner.
Food and service great. However……l was unhappy with the 2 for 1 offer where l had to pay for sea food chowder instead of it being “free” as it was a special
Really good service and food was delicious. They were very flexible with our booking and made it easy. Staff were friendly and attentive.
Good food and service thank you very much. Ok ok
It was over an hour between our order being taken and our meals being served. Just before the meal arrived the wait person apologised and said it was because they were very busy. There was only one other table in the restaurant occupied for the last 30 minutes before the food arrived. Either they had forgotten our order and lied or they were prioritising Uber eats etc. Neither is acceptable. We found the meals good but very expensive. They need to know that they can only trade on their reputation while their behaviour is consistent with it.
Food was quite tasty, but the restaurant is tired and needs a tidy up.
I have not had the lamb before, an excellent change and my go to choice at this restaurant. The staff are pleasant and efficient without being obtrusive. Many thanks see you again soon
I cannot recommend this restaurant to others. The Wellington's pastry was somewhat collapsed, lacking the crisp texture one would expect. The beef in the taco was on the dry side, missing the juicy tenderness it should have had. The most unpleasant aspect was the dessert and service. When I mentioned to the waitress that the Oreo crumbs in the Tiramisu had an off-putting smell, she inappropriately questioned me, asking, "Have you ever eaten an Oreo before?" This unprofessional and defensive response was off-putting. neither the quality of the main courses and desserts nor the staff's attitude met satisfactory standards.
